COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
HANDKERCHIEF, MEN’S OR WOMEN’S
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description in preference to DDD-H-71H, Types I and II, Classes 1, 2, and 3, Styles A and B.
1. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS.
1.1 Classification. The handkerchiefs shall be furnished in the following type, classes, and styles (see 4.2).
Type I- Men’s, 15-1/2 by 15-1/2 inches 1/
Type II- Women’s, 10 by 10 inches 1/
Class 1- White
Class 2- Brown 436 2/
Style A- Cotton
Style B- Cotton/Polyester 3/
1/ Tolerance + 1/4 inch.
2/ The Brown 436 handkerchief shall be procured only as Style A - Cotton.
3/ The cotton/polyester blend shall contain no more than 65% polyester.
